Due to the "Himeji Otemae Street Illumination Pedestrian Paradise", traffic restrictions will be in place around Himeji Castle on the following dates.
Please note that during times when traffic restrictions are in place, local and express bus routes will be detouring.

・In front of the Otemon Gate of Himeji Castle (both east and west sides)
・Himeji Post Office (Eastbound and Westbound only)
・Special Needs School for Hearing Impairments・Kokoenmae
・Himeji Castle Otemon Gate (Himeji Castle Loop Bus)
・Kokoen Garden (Himeji Castle Loop Bus)

○About express bus services

・Himeji Station - Tottori Station - Tottori University Line [Princess Bird]
→ The buses departing from Himeji Station at 18:30 for Tottori University and from Tottori University at 14:55 for Himeji Station will be detouring (no boarding or disembarking will be possible at Himeji Castle Otemon Gate).
・Himeji Station - Arima Onsen Line (Taiko Liner)
→ The bus bound for Arima Onsen departing from Himeji Station at 15:10 will be detouring (no boarding or disembarking will be possible at Himeji Castle Otemon Gate)

○Other

- For routes that are rerouted, buses will pass through all stops on the detour route.
・Due to traffic congestion around Himeji Castle, significant delays may occur (please allow yourself plenty of time).
